Leah Tompkins began her career in the hospitality industry in year 2000 as a guest service agent with Larkspur Hospitality and Summerfield Suites. In the first year of her career, she was promoted to sales coordinator and later promoted to night manager. While working multiple jobs, Ms. Tompkins pursued an associate degree in business from Heald College, which contributed to her strong foundation in general office skills, accounting, Website design and computer applications. Ms. Tompkins learned to install and configure computers and design Website pages.
Ms. Tompkins joined Marin Management in 2005 and has since held several positions. She was the guest services manager for the Bay Landing Hotel, interim general manager for Holiday Inn Express Burlingame and the interim general manager for Napa Winery Inn before being promoted to project manager for Marin Management. As project manager she supports the implementation of company programs and policies and assists with special projects.
